OUR STORY
In the 1990s, a new modality of physical therapy treatment appeared in Brazil, the RPG. With the dissemination of the technique, there was a need to develop specific stretchers for this area.
Observing the context of the growing market, physical therapist Alex Zani noticed the lack of differentials in the products offered, especially when it came to colors, since all stretchers were produced in black or white.
By identifying these needs, and starting from some ideas captured on a trip abroad, Arktus was born, in 1996. A small metallurgical company where it started to manufacture stretchers with different colors and adjustments.
The idea was to offer a product that would bring a feeling of joy and hope to the patients in the rehabilitation environment. The first stretchers produced at Arktus had bright colors, in more neutral tones, such as green and light blue and even red.

From the beginning, Arktus has been demonstrating a total commitment to the quality of the manufactured products, and has been gaining more and more space and recognition in the market.
The small industry has become large and currently has 8,000 m² of built area, properly distributed among the processes of wood, steel, painting, sewing, gluing, assembly and packaging.
Today, we produce fixed and electric stretchers, complete Pilates studios in the Cross Pilates and Classic Pilates lines, in addition to all furniture for physiotherapy, aesthetics and massage clinics, such as rehabilitation equipment, auxiliary tables, stairs, among others.
Arktus is also an importer of a complete line of fitness products and electrotherapy electrodes.
